Dear Levi,
Today is the
day! =)
I woke up
crazy sleepy and rumpled and traffic was a big snarled ball of yarn all the way
to work. Also, I changed pens because I decided I hate how fat that one was. It
is rainy and humid and sticky. Today is Halloween, too. Seriously. Everything
is pointing to a bad day. Being the last business day of the month, the calls
at work have been nonstop, too.
But I just
want to believe that God can makde today the day. I mean… what if? What if
something happened at work tonight? What if you didn’t drive back to the dorms
but instead drove to the Dell factory river to pray? What if it was my face in
your mind, not hers? What if today is the day you remember your little Noelle?
And start to miss her? What if today you begin to pray, too?
What if…?
I get to go to
my nursing home tonight. I get to see my old people. I get to run, to help my
little brother find a job. To let my dad know he’s my hero.
I love you,
Levi. I promsed forever and I can’t give up on that promise. You’re too
special, Levi.
Your star,
Rigel
